The 2010 ICA Catie Awards were announced last night at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Las Vegas and Kathy G. & Company won for Best Hors D’oeuvre! Our Breakfast in a Bite: Green Eggs ‘n Ham recipe won the prestigious award from hundreds of entries submitted from caterers and chefs around the globe. We are so excited for Kathy and chef Anna Hallman who were on hand in Las Vegas to accept the award! The dish was developed for a menu for Birmingham’s Slow Food Convivum and featured locally grown or produced items including McEwen & Sons famous organic grits.
