For those asking about our recent Allie Award nomination, here’s our entry for Best Plated Menu.

The President of the University of Alabama calls a mandatory cabinet dinner twice annually and each one is built around a theme. Normally a little “traditional”, this dinner event went totally retro with psychedelic flower power décor and a hip menu to match.

Sherry Cheese Pinwheel with Water Crackers

 First Course: Flower Power Salad

Bibb lettuce with French Feta, Fresh Strawberries, Toasted Almonds & Champagne Vinaigrette with a Variety of Edible Flowers

Rosemary Roast Beef Tenderloin with Garlic Herb Prawns with Truffle Mashed Yukon Gold Potatoes & Spring Vegetables

Lemon Tart with Fresh Whipped Crème Fraiche & Berries
